Fund Raising

We support many non-profit groups in the community. Schools, churches, nursing homes and youth groups have taken the opportunity to raise money by selling Country Basket coupons. These coupons are redeemable in the Spring for flats of annuals, vegetables or hanging baskets. In the Fall our coupons are redeemable for Fall Mums and at Christmas, for poinsettias. “Communities in Bloom Flower Pot“

The Country Basket Garden Centre works alongside the city of Niagara Falls, Park in the City Committee to create beautiful “Communities in Bloom Flower Pots”. These can be purchased from The Country Basket each Spring and taken home without the worries of planting. All of these Flower Pots carry a beautiful array of annuals and perennials to beautify your home or business.

Gift Cards

Is there an avid gardener that you just don’t know what to get? The Country Basket Garden Centre has Gift Cards in any denomination with no expiry date. Gift cards are a great idea for birthday presents, Mother's Day, house warming gifts...the possibilities are endless.

School Tulip Program

Each year The Country Basket Garden Centre donates hundreds of free tulip bulbs to local schools to beatify and improve their properties.

City of Niagara Falls Trillium Awards

The Country Basket Garden Centre donates tulip bulbs to the winners of the City of Niagara Falls Trillium Awards. We applaud the winners of the Trillium Awards for their efforts in beautifying the community.

Niagara Falls Horticultural Society's Annual Garden Walk

Each summer the NF Horticultural Society showcases area homeowner's landscaping efforts. Every year visitors marvel at the creativity, lush landscapes, waterfalls, ponds and beautiful gardens. The Garden Walk also serves as the Society's fundraiser which supports beautification projects in our community and educational endeavors. The Country Basket is proud to sponsor the Walk and you can purchase your tickets here, at our Garden Centre.
